Mes debuts de profs

Here I am, an English Teacher!

All due respect to my previous English Teacher, with whom I have shared an uncommun and respective hatred throughout my student life, I like the job! Well it's a bit soon to say that, but at least I am excited about doing it, and I have great desire to make the necessary efforts to become good!

I teach in the small provincial town of Ratchaburi where I am meant to become famous on short notice, for one very good reason: Jospeh (the other English teacher) and I are the only farangs (westerners) in town... hard to walk around unnoticed! haha :oD The town is perfect size for what I am looking for: calm ,cheap (amazingly cheap: I can live on 2-3 euros a day, and still enjoy great BBQ fish every night!), and with true people. It's interesting to see the respect these people show us, as teachers are so high in the thai society! I guess it gives us even greater responsibility to do a good job!
